Their conversations and interactions are enlightening and entertaining as Alana continues to learn. The well-informed technological advancement imagined in the novel and Alana’s superhuman abilities are other amazing aspects of the book. In the exciting action scenes, Alana changes from the calm person that David knows into a focused agent willing to kill. As each side struggles to win, the action turns riveting. Concerning trends of rivalry between nations and important topics such as climate change are also skillfully touched on.
